School standards

Below are tables to show the standards our children have achieved and progress they have made at different stages across the school for the last three years .

A Data Dashboard is produced by Ofsted to allow parents to compare their child’s school with standards and progress achieved nationally.

In 2016 new more challenging tests were introduced for the children in year 6 to be assessed against, alongside a new way of reporting results.
Levels are no longer reported for these tests.  Progress scores and achievement at the expected or higher than expected standard are now reported .

Below are the results for Riverdale for 2016

In reading 54.5% of children achieved the expected standard, with 18.2% achieving the higher standard

In maths 72.7% of children achieved the expected standard, with 9.1% achieving the higher standard

In writing 77.3% of children achieved the expected standard, with 4.5% achieving the higher standard

In grammar,punctuation and spelling  72.7% of children achieved the expected standard, with 4.5% achieving the higher standard

Giving 45.5% children achieving the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths combined, with 4.5% achieving the higher standard in all 3 subjects.

The progress score achieved for Reading was 0.35 , placing us in the middle  20% in the country.
The progress score achieved for Maths was 0.58 , placing us in the top 40% in the country.
The progress score achieved for Writing  was 0.95 , placing us in the top 40% in  the country.
