School Council

Riverdale Primary School has a brilliant School Council who exemplary follow each of our school rules; being ready, being safe and being respectful. The team work tirelessly to improve the experiences of all the children, staff and families in our school community and their hard work definitely does not go unnoticed.

Our School Council consists of two pupils from each class, who have been elected by their peers. The chosen Councillors represent their class at meetings and other events within our school community.

Riverdale Primary School Councillors are a voice for all our children. They share feedback from their classmates, and collaborate to improve the school for everyone. They work together in sharing their experiences ensuring their collective voice is heard.

Our School Councillors play an important role in making decisions with our school. They work with various roles in school, gather information, express opinions on playground development, share views on how school can be eco-friendlier and so much more.

To be elected to represent their class is a massive honour and one that the children of Riverdale Primary School don’t take for granted. They represent their community on the highest level and have the opportunity to drive changes within our school through the power of their voices. It is a pleasure to work alongside these exceptional children and we are immensely proud of their contributions.
